What Our Post-Construction Cleaning Clients Say

PRICING

How Post-Construction Cleaning Is Priced

Post-construction cleaning costs more than standard residential or commercial cleaning because it takes significantly longer, requires multiple passes, and involves specialized techniques for removing construction debris without damaging new finishes.

Pricing is based on your square footage and the scope of the project. A single room renovation requires far less work than a full new build — the debris level, number of passes required, and time on site all vary dramatically by project type.

Use the calculator above to get a starting estimate based on your space size and project type. For larger or more complex projects, we recommend a walkthrough quote so we can assess the actual debris level before committing to a price.

Post-construction cleaning is a one-time service — there are no recurring options since the goal is simply to get your space move-in ready as quickly as possible after work is completed.

REAL RESULTS

Signs Your Space Needs Post-Construction Cleaning

A contractor we’ve worked with regularly calls us in after every major renovation. His clients always want to move in immediately after the final inspection, and he’s learned that handing them a space with construction dust still on every surface is a bad look — no matter how good the renovation itself was.

After one particularly large whole-home renovation, his clients moved in before scheduling a clean. Within a week they were calling him about fine white dust showing up on furniture, clothing, and countertops — dust that had been disturbed when they started moving in. It took two full cleaning passes to address it properly.

Now he schedules us before the final walkthrough. His clients move in to a genuinely clean space and his reputation stays intact. That’s what post-construction cleaning protects — the quality of the finished work.

What Post-Construction Cleaning Actually Means

Regular cleaning and post-construction cleaning are completely different jobs. You cannot send a regular cleaning crew into a construction site and expect the same results.

Construction creates a specific kind of mess — fine drywall dust that settles into every crack, paint overspray on surfaces it shouldn’t be on, adhesive residue on fixtures, sawdust in corners, protective films still on windows and appliances.

Regular cleaning hits visible surfaces. Post-construction cleaning requires multiple passes, starting from the top of every room and working down, because disturbing construction dust sends it back into the air and it resettles. You have to do it in the right order or you’re just moving the mess around.

Think of all those surfaces that look almost clean but have a fine layer of dust you can feel when you run your finger across them. That’s what post-construction cleaning actually tackles.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What Gets Included In Post-Construction Cleaning

Post-construction cleaning is not a standard clean. Construction leaves behind a specific type of mess that requires specific techniques and multiple passes to fully remove.

In kitchens and bathrooms we remove construction dust from every surface, clean grout lines of debris and residue, wipe down all cabinet interiors and exteriors, scrub sinks and fixtures of paint and adhesive residue, and clean inside appliances if they were installed before the clean.

Throughout the entire space we do multiple dust passes — walls, ceilings, light fixtures, vents, window frames, and sills. We remove stickers and protective film from windows, appliances, and new fixtures. We clean interior windows streak-free. We vacuum and mop all floors with techniques appropriate for your new flooring type.

We also address the things most people forget — outlet covers, switch plates, door frames, baseboards, and the tops of door casings where fine dust settles and stays.

Basically, if construction touched it, we clean it.

FAQs: Everything You Need to Know

Questions about our cleaning services? We’ve got answers.

We do multiple dust passes from ceiling to floor, remove construction debris and packaging, clean all windows and remove protective film from fixtures and appliances, wipe down every surface including baseboards, vents, door frames, and switch plates, and vacuum and mop all floors. The goal is a space that’s genuinely move-in ready — not just swept.

It depends on your square footage and project type. A single room renovation typically takes 2–4 hours. A full home renovation can take 6–10 hours. New construction at 2,000+ sq ft may require a full day or multiple visits. We don’t rush — we clean until the space is ready.

Pricing starts at $400 and scales based on square footage and project type. Single room renovations are priced lower than full home renovations or new construction, which require significantly more passes and time. Use the calculator above for a starting estimate or call us for a walkthrough quote on larger projects.
